From a Vancouver actor
This is Jason Rickey, and I participated in your acting dialect workshop in December 2006.
It was amazing! I learned so much, and took home a lot of very valuable tools. When I left your class, I
truly felt like what I can best describe as a "Soldier marching into battle knowing full well he had the
biggest gun, and unlimited ammunition".
I really do recommend your workshop to anyone who is interested in getting the real training a Canadian
actor (or any actor) needs to better pursue bigger speaking roles in film.
Many of my peers had told me to take your class as this was the place to learn the correct ways to speak
"American Dialect" being used so much in film today, and you were the person to teach it. They were very
correct. I was told by them, "Andy brings such a depth of experience and knowledge, which he shares
with his students in a way that is so clear and comprehensible". I now understand what they meant.
I look forward to taking on-going training with you, and plan on doing so to better further my career in film.
